Abstract:

DEF CON overwhelms almost everyone the first time. So much is happening, with sessions, villages, and networking parties. What is DEF CON? Do you need a burner phone and laptop and what should you attend? What about hotels, food, transportation? Most of all, we’ll talk about how to network with other people as this is an event with 30,000+ attendees from all aspects of cybersecurity, blue team, red team, practitioners, leaders and you. Bring your questions, your comfortable shoes and stay hydrated!
